About Our Live-Out Nannies:
Our nannies are thoroughly screened and have to meet strict requirements which include but are not limited to: Legal status, professional child care experience, excellent verifiable references and fluency in English. Our nannies are from all different ethnic backgrounds and range in age from 21-65. Most of our nannies come by way of recommendation and continue to work with us year after year.
Typical live-out nanny salary ranges from $12-$18 per hour with the average being $15 per hour. Part time nannies tend to earn more per hour than full time nannies. There isn't a big difference in salary for live out and live in nannies.
Typical Nanny Job Duties:
þ Complete care for children including feeding, diapering, comforting, engaging, etc.
þ Developmentally appropriate activity including playing, reading, play dates, fine & large motor development.
þ Organizing child’s nursery, straightening play areas, sterilizing and cleaning baby’s bottles and dishes.
þ Light housekeeping as related to the care of the child including laundry, cleaning toys, organizing, child’s room, etc.
þ Light transportation as related to children including school, play dates, classes and activities.
